All the food we collected is pictured above, and will go to the Dalhousie Food Cupboard on arlington Ave, just around the corner from our shop here in the city.
On Sunday we partook in the first ever Locavore Artisan Food Fair- What a blast! The doors opened at 10, and as you can see from the picture above, we were nearly cleaned out by 12! Our wonderful neighbor Stone Soup Foodworks (SOLAR powered soup truck!!!!!!) was ladling out hot bowls of some of the most delicious soup we've ever had, and our dear friends Isobels Cupcakes and Siren Bakery dished out some of the yummiest eats in the city. What a fun day with fun friends, and we made lost of fantastic new ones too.
For those of you who arrived and were disappointed that we had no breakfast packs available for purchase- our apologies. The information in the paper was incorrect. The packs can only be ordered through the bakery as they need to be kept frozen until Christmas Morning so that the yeast doesn't come to life early! Please call or email to order- we are taking orders for all Christmas Pastries until Dec 22 at 6:30 pm.
